Chart notes
LEG UP rated close to the early pace in the two and three paths, gave chase into the backstretch, contested even terms two deep on the far turn and dug in determinedly to eke out the advantage over SPIRIT OF WINDSOR in later strides. The latter raced with the early pace three wide and took the lead into the backstretch, came under pressure at the three eighths pole, was met at even terms nearest the rail on the far turn and dug in gamely before reluctantly ceding late strides. SEATTLE SAILAWAY settled off the rail on the first turn, eased out into the backstretch and bid leaving the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the four path and came along for third later yards. MODERN DAY ROMANCE rated close inside on the first turn, gave chase nearing the five sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn in the two and three paths then flattened later yards. TYRY TYRANNOSAURUS saved ground well off the pace and showed little response through the backstretch. SIENTE EL AMOR raced with the early pace two deep, took a brief lead between horses on the first turn then gave chase from the half mile pole, but faded at the rail on the far turn. JEFFERSON SECURITY was hustled along to take a brief early lead, gave up the lead midway on the first turn then faded through the backstretch.
