Chart notes
MARSANNE became edgy in the gate, dueled for the lead leaving the seven sixteenths pole but bore out and gave up the advantage midway on the turn, left the turn wide but dug in to recover the edge in the final strides. AVALANCHE IS COMIN chased the pace, rounded the turn in the three path and dug in from the head of the lane to take second in later yards, while outfinished for the win. CALERA LOVE had a brief early lead then gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, took over at the rail midway on the turn but was met and relented in later yards. PROUD PERFORMER chased, raced near the rail on the turn then flattened inside the sixteenth pole. I'M HEADING EAST gave chase outside, rounded the turn in the six path and showed little in the lane. IRISH VALENTINE gave chase outside, rounded the turn in the seven path and showed little in the lane. DEAREST M. A. ducked in at the break then saved ground.
