Chart notes
ISHIHARA settled in the three path the first turn and stalked into the backstretch, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole and contested at a close disadvantage two deep on the far turn, dueled for the lead past the eighth pole and dug in to inch clear under the wire. FANCY CONCHO rated close inside, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail, eased out and took aim three wide at the eighth pole and finished evenly at the outside flank of the winner. PENGUIN POWER stumbled leaving the gate but recovered quickly and took over inside, came under pressure approaching the three eighths pole, contested the edge at the rail on the far turn, but was met past the eighth pole, flattened stride the final sixteenth and just lasted for third. COMMAND THE CAT settled off the rail on the first turn, eased out into the backstretch and gave chase from the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn in the four path, dug in leaving the turn and just missed third. ALLEN CAN DO IT stalked off the rail on the first turn, gave chase from the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the three path then flattened in the lane.
