Chart notes
MARINA GRANDE was hustled along with the pace inside, inched clear at the rail midway on the turn and held well under steady handling. GALLANT CREED set a pressured pace through most of the backstretch, dropped back two deep midway on the turn, though held on the stretch duel for second. WOODEN SHIPS chased through the backstretch, raced close three deep on the turn then relented in the stretch duel for second. CARMELIZED gave chase, raced two deep on the turn then eased out into the lane and flattened stride. OUR GREAT NOTION was shuffled back at the break, picked up the chase inside, raced at the rail on the turn and weakened in the lane. MEGEEZER gave chase, raced in the three path on the turn and weakened in the lane. POLISH THE DIAMOND chased toward the inside, raced at the rail on the turn and weakened. JUGSY chased through the backstretch, rounded the turn near the rail and showed little in the lane. LIME STAR was not a factor. FLATTERING WAY saved ground.
