TIZ THE REASON took the lead past the half mile pole and rated the pace, came under pressure past the five sixteenths pole, rounded the turn near the rail and widened under steady stretch handling. SALSA RITA chased inside, rounded the turn near the rail and dug in through the lane to hold second. COLLEGE KID gave chase, raced in the four path on the turn and got up for third later yards. FLAT DISCOUNT chased through the backstretch, raced in the three path on the turn and ran evenly in the lane. DING DING engaged in close chase, raced close off the rail on the turn but weakened inside the eighth pole. SISTER'S DUTY chased outside, rounded the turn about the five path and showed little in the lane. SHENANDOAH CAT gave chase and saved ground.
