Chart notes
TOP HARBOR took back in the early stages, settled off of the quick early pace while not far back into the turn, raced two wide to the quarter marker, angled four wide in upper stretch, vied for the lead at the furlong grounds, took command into into the final furlong, drew clear in the late stages and was hand urged to the finish. LARRY'S LEGEND broke alertly, disputed the quick early pace with CREATIVE PEAK, pressed his stablemate through solid fractions to the quarter marker, vied for the lead into upper stretch, could not match strides with TOP HARBOR inside of the furlong pole and held safely in the end for second. CREATIVE PEAK showed good early speed and dictated terms early on, was pressed into the turn by LARRY'S LEGEND, maintained a short lead over his stablemate to the quarter marker, Roman lost his crop at the top of the stretch, was overtaken by oncoming rivals heading to the furlong marker and stayed on in deep stretch to be clear for third. UNRAPTURED was unhurried in the early stages, raced three wide on the turn, improved position in upper stretch, avoided a fallen rival at mid-stretch and was not asked for run in the final stages. COOL MOUNTAIN LAD away a step slowly, was hustled to be forwardly placed in the early running, chased from the inside on the turn, lost position in upper stretch and gave way in the final stages. MY SUMMER DREAM settled off of the solid early pace, improved position while four wide on the turn, swung five wide for the drive, was bothered by a fallen rival at mid-stretch and was not persevered with late. CRAZY DREAMS chased the fast early pace, advanced three wide nearing the quarter marker, vied for the lead in upper stretch, took a bad step at the furlong marker, fell and was vanned off.
