Chart notes
LIGHTNIN RUNNER angled to the outside to give chase, rounded the turn about the three path, angled to the outside leaving the turn and dug in under steady handling to take the nod at the wire. GREAT SPIRIT contested the pace leaving the half mile pole, dueled clear toward the quarter pole, was steadily encouraged leaving the turn but gave up the nod under the wire. BELLA MELA gave chase through the backstretch, raced near the rail on the turn and was outfinished in the duel through the stretch. MUSIC LASS chased, rounded the turn in the three path, eased out mid-stretch and finished evenly. LA MADDALENA gave chase, raced off the rail on the turn and ran evenly in the lane. STRYDA contested the pace through the backstretch but dropped back toward the quarter pole and weakened inside the sixteenth pole.
