Chart notes
POET LAUREATE vied for the lead while four wide, then pressed the pace throughout the turn, dueled with the inner rival at the quarter pole, could not gain the lead then found more in the final furlong and was in the final strides to prove best. CRIMSON LADY vied for the lead from the inside, gained command mid back stretch, then dueled to keep the lead heading into the home stretch, inched away from that rival but could not keep clear of that rival and was out kicked in the final furlong and was second best. ROSES ARE GRAY was well rated down the backstretch while chasing the pace from the two path, then bid on the turn while four wide to close well in the end and was best for show. DANZIG UP A STORM chased the pace from the inside down the backstretch, then came out three wide to bid in the upper stretch but came up evenly in the end. POETIC UNION settle in the two path, then bid on the turn while five wide, angled in along the rail in the stretch to close well but it was not enough. CRAFTY CHARLIE settled along the inside down the backstretch, then came out four wide to bid on the turn and into the stretch and was no threat. JJ'S AMERICAN DIVA bumped foe at the start, then vied for the lead while two wide, then faded heading into the turn and had no final bid in the stretch. EUROROSE bumped inner rival at the start, then vied for the lead while three wide.
