Chart notes
COSTANARMANDALEG broke alertly to press the pace from three wide through the turn, battled in the lane between horses while exchanging bumps with CARLOS LOVES TEE leaving the sixteenth pole, fought from between horses to the wire bumping with the runner-up in the final strides and finished determinedly to get the nod. NORA'S LEGACY dueled from between horses early to take a short lead down the backstretch, fought from the rail in a three horse duel at the head of the stretch, took the lead in the late stages, shied away from the winner fifty yards from the finish briefly tossing his head, dug back in, bumped winner late and just missed. CARLOS LOVES TEE broke outward leaving the gate, dropped into a stalking position down the backside, rallied three wide to take the lead at the head of the lane, drifted in bumping the winner and hung in the late stages. GRAN MANNA moved up the rail leaving the chute to press the pace from the rail, checked by rider in the turn while trying to get out, raced wide while failing to gain from there on. MAYAPRETTY trailed the field to the top of the lane and showed late interest gaining ground down the stretch. SIMPLE PLEASURE was well placed early on and made a mild bid down the lane while never posing a threat. SHESMYBROKER dropped back during the run down the backside and was never a factor.
