Chart notes
SINGLE ME OUT settled off the leaders early, moved five-wide through the turn, reached the fore with a sixteenth to run and drew off. EDINBURGH EXPRESS sprinted clear at once, raced off the rail while setting the pace and yielded to the winner through the final sixteenth. BUGLER was reserved just off the leaders early, moved four-wide through the turn and finished evenly late. EXECUTIVE ACTION lacked early foot, raced five-wide through the turn and was not a factor. ROYAL TAP chased the leaders from the inside for a half and weakened. BUMPY CUP was void of early speed, raced four-wide through the turn and did not menace. ROUGE SUNSET showed brief speed from between foes, steadied nearing the quarter and weakened. THE RACE WAS HAND TIMED.
