Chart notes

JERSEYS IMAGE away alertly and dueled for the lead through the first turn and in the run down the backside from the outside of SHE'S ON FIRE, continued to battle with that rival into the final turn, took command entering the lane, and inched clear in the drive. DYNAMITER tracked the dueling leader in the run down the backside while racing just out from the rail, rallied two wide entering the final turn, and closed three wide in the drive to prove clearly second best. ENGLISH BAY TEDDY away well and tracked the leaders into the backstretch while drifting three out from the rail, continued to fight the rider while racing four wide in the run down the backside, rallied three wide entering the final turn, and finished two out from the rail in the drive in an even effort. SHE'S ON FIRE broke sharply and vied for the lead from along the rail in the run to the first turn, steadied briefly entering the turn, set a pressured pace from along the rail in the run down the backstretch and through the final turn, checked again leaving the turn when in tight quarters at the rail, and was outfinished late. BE SPARKY unhurried early while trailing the field into the backstretch, saved ground throughout, but failed to make a serious impact.
