SHARPZAN broke sharply and dueled for the lead from the outside of DON W entering the first turn, forced the issue from the outside of that rival in the run down the backstretch and through the final turn, got the better of his pace rival entering the lane, was quickly collared by BROKE AN BROKEN and briefly overtaken, but battled back gamely to prevail following a stretch long battle. BROKE AN BROKEN away alertly and tracked the leaders into the backstretch while racing one out from the rail, tipped three wide to commence his bid entering the final turn, took a narrow advantage soon after straightening for home, but was unable to dispose of a stubborn SHARPZAN who battled back along the inside to prevail. COCORITA tracked the dueling leaders in the run down the backside while racing two out from the rail, rallied four wide entering the final turn, and finished with late interest three out from the rail in the drive to garner a share. ONE FIFTY ONE stalked the leaders at the back of a compact field while saving ground in the run down the backstretch, rallied along the inside entering the final turn, and finished one out from the rail in the drive while unable to make a serious impact. DON W away well and vied for the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, set a pressured pace from along the rail in the run down the backstretch, was unable to match strides with his pace rival leaving the turn, and faded in the late stages.
