KAPALUA CANDY away alertly and dueled for the lead from the outside of ALOBRAH entering the first turn, quickly took command and controlled the pace in the run down the backstretch, held a clear lead into the final turn, and drew off in the lane under confident handling. MARYS TAPPIN SHOES away well and was allowed to settle off the early pace while saving ground at the rail, rallied from just off the rail entering the final turn, and found her best stride late from along the rail to get up for the place. VIVA LA VINO tossed her head prior to the start and got away a step slowly, raced into a stalking trip two out from the rail entering the backstretch, began to advance midway down the backside to take up the chase three wide entering the final turn, and finished two out from the rail in the drive while unable to sustain her bi in the late stages. OSTRACIZE settled off the contested early pace while racing one out from the rail entering the backstretch, rallied three wide entering the final turn, and finished four wide in the drive while unable to threaten. ALOBRAH broke sharply and vied for the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, was unable to keep tabs on her pace rival in the run down the backside, and faded over the final furlong.
