Chart notes
UNCLE JEFF vied with MARKSMAN ON TARGET for the lead racing in hand, shook that one off nearing the quarter pole, repulsed a bid from COMMAND SGT MAJOR entering the stretch and quickly drew clear. COMMAND SGT MAJOR was reserved off the early pace, moved up three-wide nearing the quarter pole but was unable to stay with the winner during the drive while proving to be second best. SPIRE was unhurried early, moved up two-wide on the turn splitting rivals nearing the quarter pole and finished in a mild rally. MARKSMAN ON TARGET vied for the lead from along the inside for nearly six furlongs and tired. POPPY'S C NOTE dropped back early while saving ground and failed to menace. STREET DEMAND was allowed to settle in stride, raced three-wide approaching the quarter pole and gave way.
