Chart notes
MOOSE MITCHELL chased two wide into the turn, gained through the bend, took over quickly at the eighth pole and kicked clear to win going away. KINGDOM HEART sped clear and crossed over to the inside, padded the lead early on the turn, held a diminished lead into the lane, offered no resistance to the winner entering the final furlong but stayed on for a clear second. TAHOE SUNRISE got bumped from inside at the start, chased two wide then moved to the rail on the bend, lacked room past the quarter pole, gained a clear path and was along for the show. GIVER NOT A TAKER traveled in mid-pack up the backstretch, raced along the rail then shifted out at the five-sixteenths pole, entered the lane two to three wide and lacked a bid. SPEIGHT AND MALICE broke a step slow, trailed three wide through the turn and never threatened. DEPARTURE broke a step slow, sat off the pace off the rail, got bothered by GIVER NOT A TAKER shifting out at the five-sixteenths pole, spun three wide into the lane and failed to make an impact. DARNQUICK bumped outer rival at the start, was closest in pursuit to the turn, lost ground along the inside around the bend and weakened. PER THE HORSE RACING INTEGRITY AND WELFARE UNIT, GIVER NOT A TAKER HAS BEEN DQ'D DUE TO A POSITIVE TEST.
