Chart notes
CASH EQUITY (FR) chased on the inside then became rank early, settled around the clubhouse turn, went between foes then got put in a bit tight at the three-eighths pole, chased two wide into the lane, rallied three deep entering the final furlong and drove clear. TWIST (FR) got bumped back at the start, became rank early, tracked two wide then between foes in the middle stages, crept closer around the far turn, angled out into the lane, rallied widest into the final furlong and got outkicked by the winner. CROSBY BEACH was closest in pursuit in the two path early, challenged into the far turn, took a brief lead with a furlong left to run before being overtaken midstretch and faltered in the final sixteenth. MCLAREN VALE stalked the pace from inside, saved ground through the far turn, lacked room in upper stretch and churned on once in the clear for a minor award. FAYATHAAN (IRE) sped to the front, controlled the pace up the backstretch, met outside challenger at the three-eighths pole, dueled into the lane, lost command at the eighth pole, fought to the sixteenth pole, then weakened late. TIDAL FORCES settled three wide at the back, angled to the inside around the far turn, tipped out in the lane and failed to menace. TAISHAN bumped with outer rival at the start, tracked off the rail out of range, went four wide on the far turn then came three wide into the drive and failed to menace.
