Chart notes
RUNNINGFORCASH was forwardly placed around the first turn and up the backstretch, loomed two wide nearing the quarter pole, continued in striking distance in upper stretch, dug in under firm handling, collared UXMAL near the sixteenth pole and kicked clear. UXMAL tugged a bit keen heading into the first turn, settled then set the uncontested pace up the backstretch, took on the challenge of RUNNINGFOR CASH midway around the far turn, held a slim lead in upper stretch, fought back into the final furlong then failed to be a match in late stages. KITTER KAT tracked the pace on the rail, launched an inside bid heading into the lane, roused forward into strong contention a furlong out then evened out. DODGER BLUE raced in range through early stages, weakened around the far turn and continued to falter through the lane. PISTOL PACKIN MAN raced in the back although never too far back in early stages then steadily retreated.
