REGAL SPEAKER rated close up and outside, gained a striking position three wide through the second turn, bid outside the leader into the stretch, then drew off inside the furlong marker and was kept to the task. C THE KING never far back, gained position three and four wide through the second turn, came three wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and edged up for the place. JAMA DILLON sent from the gate, sprinted clear early, reclaimed the lead down the backstretch from SPETTACOLI, shook clear through the second turn, then weakened the final furlong and held the show. LAUDERDALE unhurried, saved ground through the turns, came through inside into the stretch and got up for a share. SPETTACOLI (ARG) rated close up, pulled to the lead down the backstretch, vied into the second turn, then faded through the turn.
