Chart notes
DIABOLICAL RULER set a pressured pace, drew off leaving the turn and held safely under mild urging. COYSTER broke in and bumped at the start, pressed the pace three across, fell back on the turn, closed steadily and earned place while no threat to the winner. PATRIOT dropped inside to save ground, angled out on the turn, swung wide entering the stretch and finished well. FINGLAS LAD broke out and bumped at the start, vied between horses, fell back entering the stretch, hung late and lost position. DEL MAR SUMMER bumped at the start, stalked the pace along the inside, bid off the rail to get within range and came up empty late. REAL PENNY was outrun in an even effort. TYGER TENNESSEE broke slowly and bumped at the start, trailed the field and showed little.
