Chart notes
CHOLLIMA bumped leaving the gate, went to vie inside pair early, held a short lead over outside rivals two wide into the stretch, shook free past the three-sixteenths pole and drew away. TALKATIVE GAL fractious in the gate, hopped at the start, trailed on the inside into the turn, two wide into the lane, angled out widest and got up for second. ISLAND LIFE vied three deep for command, dueled four wide into the stretch, could not match strides with the winner past the three-sixteenths pole, churned on in the final furlong and saved the show. FLAG SALUTE was fractious in the gate, prominent early then chased the top trio two wide into the turn, angled over to the rail around the bend, failed to find the needed late kick in the final furlong and missed the show honors. AUNT OPAL bumped with inner rival at the start, sent for the front and vied between rivals into and around the turn, failed to keep up at the top of the stretch, drifted out at the three-sixteenths pole and weakened. PER RULING FROM HIWU, CHOLLIMA WAS DISQUALIFIED FOR POSITIVE TEST.
