Chart notes
BIG HAT WILLIE broke a step slow then lost his path early, stalked three deep between rivals, got boxed in at the seven-sixteenths pole, split rivals with a furlong to go and drove clear late. THE BULLION BOMBER (IRE) set the pace under pressure, led two wide around the turn then clear three wide into the lane, remained unchallenged approaching the sixteenth pole but got run down late. TAHOE SECRETS stalked four deep to the turn, five wide into the lane, chased through the final furlong but could not summon the needed late kick while earning the show honors. CATHEDRAL LIGHT broke a step slow, chased between rivals into the turn, two wide leaving the bend, kept on through the lane and got edged for third. BUCK OWENS pressed the pace from outside, chased the leader four wide into the lane and was outfinished in the late stages. LITTLEBROTHERJOEY raced up close on the inside, saved ground through the turn and tired.
