Chart notes
CHARLEMAGNE stalked two deep then challenged leaving the seven sixteenths pole, took the nod toward the quarter, drew clear into the lane and was steadily handled to hold on well. NEVER FOR SPEIGHT rated close in the three path, gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the three path on the far turn then dug in through the lane to hold second. DIVINAS CONNECTION exchanged contact with Major Nelson leaving the gate and rounded the opening turn in the four path, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole, raced in the four path on the far turn and ran evenly in the stretch. RUSH TO CANDY settled off the rail, bid nearing the three eighths pole and entered the far turn at the rail, angled to the five path into the lane and finished evenly outside. MAJOR NELSON exchanged contact with Divinas Connection leaving the gate, rounded the first turn in the three path then gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, came through the far turn in the three path and showed little in the lane. LET'S EAT rated the pace inside, was met nearing the seven sixteenths pole and dueled with the advantage from that point, but gave up the lead approaching the quarter pole and weakened into the lane. SHAKIN IT BIG TIME settled inside on the first turn and showed little response through the backstretch.
