Chart notes
OX DOC moved in and rated a slim lead through the backstretch, cleared into the turn and held on under steady stretch handling. DAY THE MUSIC DIED gave chase through the backstretch, raced in the five path on the turn, drifted outward under left hand pressure through the stretch but dueled the final sixteenth for second. SHAMELESS RISK chased through the backstretch, rounded the turn about the six path, came inside the errant path of Day The Music Died mid-stretch and was outfinished for second the final sixteenth. DAN THE MAN CAN exchanged contact with Showtime Cat leaving the gate then gave chase, raced close off the rail on the turn then flattened later yards. SETTLEMENT DATE gave chase, raced in the three path on the turn and ran evenly down the lane. BODYSLAM gave chase, raced off the rail on the turn, eased out into the stretch and finished evenly. STORM TRAPPE moved in and gave chase through the backstretch but checked in tight at the rail leaving the five sixteenths pole and weakened leaving the turn. SHOWTIME CAT came away awkwardly and exchanged contact with Dan The Man Can then gave chase outside and rounded the turn in the six path. The Stewards reviewed, and rejected a claim of foul against the rider of Day The Music Died for stretch interference, lodged by the rider of Shameless Risk.
