Chart notes
EXECUTIVE CHEF was allowed to settle in stride while saving ground, angled out to come four-wide into the stretch, caught PESO at the eighth pole, dueled with that one to the wire and prevailed narrowly. PESO forced the early pace set by BEAU MISCHIEF, took the lead from that one entering the stretch, responded when challenged nearing the eighth pole while angling out slightly and just missed. FIREWALKER was unhurried early, came six-wide into the stretch and finished strongly. BEAU MISCHIEF was off a step slow, then rushed up along the inside to set the pace to the stretch and tired. MISCHIEVOUSHOLIDAY was forwardly placed early racing along the outside, came five-wide into the stretch and gave way. TIG bobbled at the start to get away behind his field, then dropped back and was not a factor.
