Chart notes
LOOKIN FOR BALA dueled for the lead with ONASA, shook that one off nearing the eighth pole and gradually increased his advantage late. ONASA dueled for the lead from along the outside into the stretch, could not stay with the winner late but held on well for the place. STAR NATION saved ground while being unhurried, angled out four-wide nearing the eighth pole and finished full of run. CORTESE saved ground stalking the pace, moved up three-wide to offer his bid nearing the quarter pole and then flattened out. SILVER CHILLER was reserved off the pace, came four-wide into the stretch but failed to menace.
