Chart notes
WEST VIRGINIA PAM rated a slim early lead inside, came under pressure leaving the three eighths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and just lasted all out. BOCA BIRDIE saved ground well off the early pace, started a bid past the three eighths pole and steadily improved in the three and four paths on the far turn, dug in for second mid-stretch and just missed in a strong finish. CHANNEL SCENT settled off the rail on the first turn, bid leaving the three eighths pole and raced at the rail on the far turn, ran evenly to mid-stretch but flattened later yards. SO RED THE ROSE stalked the early pace off the rail, gave chase from the three eighths pole, raced off the rail on the far turn and weakened in the lane. MAP EM UP stalked from the three path the first turn, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn in the three path and flattened stride. MOJO MATTERS raced well off the early pace in the three path and never factored.
