Chart notes
HESSICA moved to the inside and rated a slim early lead, dug in to the challenge of Cousin Winnie leaving the three eighths pole and cleared that one past the pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and held well under steady handling. SOMEBODY LOVES ME saved ground well off the pace, picked up the chase into the backstretch, improved off the rail on the far turn and cleared second mid-stretch. COUSIN WINNIE stalked two deep, challenged toward the three eighths pole but dropped back past the pole, rounded the far turn near the rail and flattened in the lane. BREADMAN'S ROSEBUD saved ground well back from early contention, gave chase leaving the half mile pole, raced near the rail on the far turn and finished evenly to close the gap. GILDED QUEST stalked the early pace three wide then faded through the backstretch. Beautiful And Bold broke through the gate before the start, ran loose a few laps and was a late scratch.
