MILITARY DRILL broke out, bumping a rival at the start, then shied and steadied from another veering rival, moved up inside through the turn, angled three wide into the stretch, drifted in, made a steady gain and drew off late. STRAIGHTOUTADUTTON broke in, bumping a rival at the start, stayed on when challenged into the stretch, then was no match late and held the place. NOTACATBUTACARD bumped and pinched back at the start, moved up three wide through the turn, fanned widest into the stretch, could not gain in upper stretch and held the show. CHAMPION BY DESIGN allowed to settle, saved ground through the turn, came through inside of rivals into the stretch and closed well for a share. BLUE SKY'S ABOVE well placed, gained position three wide through the turn, then faded four wide into the stretch. PRESS SNOOZE unhurried, moved up on the two path through the turn, came through on that path into the stretch and had no rally. SOUTH SEA vied for the early lead inside and faded in the stretch.
