Chart notes
WICKED SUPRISE pressed the pace around the first turn, fell back, closed steadily and wore down SEQUAYA to get up late. SEQUAYA set a pressured pace around the first turn, drew off for a long lead, led to deep stretch and was outfinished in a good effort. STOLICH broke out, was allowed to settle, saved ground, finished well inside and earned show while no threat to the top two.. BRODY'S FLY broke out, raced in close early, fell back, put in a steady effort and didn't have enough late. MASQUERADE BALL was unhurried early, raced in the back, went widest in the drive and finished well. KING ZION raced close to the pace along the inside early, fell back, was roused on the turn, shifted out for the drive, bid and came up empty. BLUE TEARDROPS was pushed out at the start, raced wide, lacked a bid and was not urged late.
