Chart notes
AFFIRM CHIEF saved ground while being unhurried, moved up strongly between horses on the turn, was three-wide the final quarter and finished fast to be up in the final sixteenth to win going away. PROVOST vied with A VIEW FROM ABOVE from along the inside, opened clear nearing the quarter pole, settled into the stretch with a clear lead but could resist the winner while clearly second best. A VIEW FROM ABOVE vied for the lead from along the outside, dropped back nearing the quarter pole but continued on well for the show. JEDI KNIGHT was forwardly placed while racing two-wide but lacked a rally. CODY'S CHOICE was close up early racing along the inside and weakened after six furlongs. Y VEE R was prominently placed early while three-wide and tired.
