Chart notes
PESO dueled for the lead from the outset while racing two-wide, responded when asked and prevailed narrowly in a prolonged drive. HARBOR OUTLAW stalked the pace racing in hand, moved up three-wide to join the leaders at the quarter pole, gained a slight lead nearing the eighth pole and just missed in a stiff drive. TIG dueled for the lead to the eighth pole from along the inside, was unable to stay with the top two late but held on well for the show. SMOKEN SHADOW saved ground while being reserved off the early pace, angled out to come four-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally. MISCHIEVOUSHOLIDAY was unhurried early, came five-wide into the stretch and was gaining slightly late.
