ICY STORM raced off the pace inside, advanced three wide on the far turn, rallied four wide into the stretch, angled in behind HONOR THE FLEET passing the eighth pole, quickly took over, pulled away and was ridden out. HONOR THE FLEET set the pace racing with a clear lead, showed the way on his own around the far turn, drifted out after left handed encouragement coming to the furlong marker, then weakened and held second. CORKMAN stalked two wide, chased three wide on the far turn, then rallied mildly on the rail in the stretch. THE JONES BOY tracked inside, chased inside on the far turn and weakened. INDIAN BUZZ raced three wide early, stalked close up outside, chased on the far turn and faded. THE METHOD was steadied soon after the start, then outrun.
