Chart notes
SUMMANUS vied for the lead from along the inside, opened clear nearing the eighth pole and then was all out to prevail narrowly. PERFECT ONE was bumped at the stat by TAP THE BANK, then was reserved off the pace, rallied five-wide into the stretch, came in during the drive brushing with NATION OF FAITH and finished fast. NATION OF FAITH was allowed to settle in stride, rallied four-wide into the stretch, was brushed by PERFECT ONE during the stretch and steadied nearing the wire from between horses and finished willingly. AGRIGENTO prompted the pace from along the inside to the stretch and weakened late. WEGOTBEERONICE was forwardly placed while racing three-wide, steadied nearing the three-sixteenths pole in tight while tiring. SENOR FABULOSO dropped back early, came five-wide into the stretch and improved his position. TIME 'N TIME AGAIN saved ground while racing in the middle of the field, steadied nearing the quarter pole when the rider less horse moved up beside him, angled out for the drive and failed to menace. TEACHERSBUGSAROO saved ground chasing the pace from along the inside and tired. TAP THE BANK bobbled slightly at the start, then went in to bump PERFECT ONE and unseated his rider. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE STRETCH RUN AND FOUND THAT WHILE PERFECT ONE CREATED CONTACT THAT HE DID NOT COST NATION OF FAITH A POSITION SO MADE NO CHANGE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH.
