CLOSE THE CASE drew clear and moved to the inside to rate the pace, was given rein to move away leaving the three eighths pole, came under pressure at the rail through the far turn, extended his lead through later yards but was unsaddled on the clubhouse turn and returned sore. NO FOOLING DUDE stalked the early pace two deep while between horses, gave chase approaching the three eighths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and cleared second past the eighth pole. FORT FORTITUDE stalked inside on the first turn, picked up the chase leaving the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the four path and finished evenly to take third later yards. SUPERHIGHWAY stalked four wide on the opening turn, challenged leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced off the rail on the far turn then flattened inside the eighth pole. GAMING JACK stalked three wide on the first turn, gave chase toward the three eighths pole but weakened off the rail on the far turn.
