Chart notes
WAR ON THE RIVER away alertly, set all the pace, drew off in upper stretch and prevailed under a strong hand ride. PRESSLEY RIDGE never far back, closed willingly three wide through the turn and stretch in the four path and finished clear for second while steadily cutting into the winners advantage late. RAISE YOU ONE had good early speed two wide, dropped back on the turn, drifted out to the seven path entering the stretch and improved position late. ORVILLE B offered a mild bid two wide on the turn then failed to sustain that bid. WHY KENNY WHY was no factor. MARQUITOS M pressured the winner along the inside into the turn and was through after a half.
