Chart notes
DERBY INCLUDED saved ground through the far turn, shifted out to the four path at the three sixteenths pole, rallied steadily through the stretch under left handed urging and got up in the final strides. MASTER OF WAR unhurried into the stretch, closed willingly along the rail late and got up for second. MUGSY MALONE sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, set the pace until deep stretch then was outfinished while two wide. SAMMY'S SMILE allowed to settle, found his best stride late outside. DISTORTED LIMITS chased the pace in the three path and went evenly. ACROSS THE AISLE trailed.
