Chart notes
STRAIGHT AND LEVEL rated along early, loomed along the inside into the upper stretch, had to wait nearing the quarter pole, got through near the rail and just got up in a determined run under strong pressure. CIGARETTE BOAT showed good early speed to set the early pace, raced two wide in drive and missed in a game effort. ELEGANT TRIP was bumped soundly soon after the start, raced with the second flight early, moved up midway through the far turn, raced three deep through the upper stretch, angled out and finished gamely to the wire. MO SATURDAYS settled off the early pace, raced along the inside around the far turn through the stretch and had not enough. BEER RUN prompt the early pace two deep and weakened through the drive. SIX MISSIONS dropped back early to race mid pack, raced from the far outside in the stretch and had no final winning bid. AUTOCRAT rated along under a hold early on, raced three to four wide in the lane and had no response. LITTLE NICK was bumped soundly, in tight soon after the start, raced five to six wide in the stretch and had no late rally. SPANISH DOUBLOON stalked the pace, raced three to four wide around the far turn and faded. SMOKE WAGON was bumped, checked in the early stages, raced three to five wide around the far turn and never threatened. MO HOPE was allowed to settle early and failed to respond. BATTLE BORN was off slowly and trailed.
