EXECUTIVE ACTION saved ground while being allowed to settle, steadied lacking room leaving the five-sixteenths pole, angled out to be three-wide at the quarter pole, caught STATE OF THE UNION nearing the eighth pole, dueled with him from that point and prevailed. STATE OF THE UNION disputed the early pace with PROUD LION, responded when challenged by the winner nearing the eighth pole and held on gamely to the wire. HEY SEQUOIA dropped back while saving ground and rallied well for third. RAAJIN RIBBON saved ground chasing the early pace, angled out to be four-wide at the quarter pole and weakened. R B EYE was unhurried early while racing two-wide and improved his position late. DYF was forwardly placed racing along the outside, moved up to be five-wide at the quarter pole and then tired during the drive. TWO PRINCES saved ground while lacking early speed and failed to threaten. PROUD LION vied for the lead from along the inside to the stretch and tired.
