Chart notes
RED PIXIE well placed and inside, gained position inside through the second turn, came through inside of rivals into the stretch, was blocked, waited, found room angling out, made a steady gain and drew off late. LUNAR ICE allowed to settle, moved up on the two path through the second turn, angled four wide into the stretch and closed well for the place. STARSHIP MACYS led in the early going, tracked the leader to the second turn, angled out and moved to position through the turn, bidding out the leader, then made a steady gain, shook clear and was no match late. MERINO WOOL mid pack, looped up two and three wide through the second turn, came three wide into the stretch and had no rally. MANDY GREEN unhurried, looped up three and four wide through the second turn, fanned widest into the stretch and passed a tiring rival. BEAUTIFUL STAR sprinted away from the field, then faded into the stretch.
