LOCKE AND KEY chased along the inside and then just off the inside coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick to secure the show honors well clear of the rest. BE THE BOSS stumbled at the start, recovered to vie from the three path with a trio before emerging with sole command tucked to the two path half a mile from home, showed the way through the turn and went three wide into upper stretch, dug in under challenge and yielded nearing the eighth pole, then weakened in the final furlong. TWO FOR CHARGING chased four wide under coaxing from the seven-sixteenths, went seven wide into upper stretch, offered no response. ROCKET AND ROLL five to six paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked four wide through the turn, got set down spinning six wide into upper stretch and weakened. ALWAYS CHARMING hustled from the gate, chased three wide under coaxing from the seven-sixteenths, angled six wide into upper stretch and made no impact. HENSON vied from the two path early on, tucked inside in the midst of being shaken off half a mile from home, retreated along the rail through the turn, went two to three wide into upper stretch and folded.
