INFINITE PATIENCE tracked the leader from along the rail entering the stretch the first time, continued to track the pacesetter from along the rail in the run down the backside and into the final turn, took control midway through the turn, and inched clear over the final furlong under confident handling. ABOVE AVERAGE away well and tracked the leader three wide through the stretch the first time, maintained her position in the run down the backstretch, rallied two wide entering the final turn, and finished willingly two wide in the drive to prove clearly second best. WE B THREE stalked the leaders from along the rail entering the stretch the first time, maintained her position while saving ground at the rail in the run down the backside and into the final turn, but lacked the needed closing response late. PRETTY ARIA away alertly and stalked the early pace while racing two wide through the stretch the first time, dropped back to trail in the run down the backside, rallied along the inside entering the final turn, but lacked the needed closing response when called upon. DAPHNE broke sharply and raced to the lead one out from the rail entering the first turn, controlled the pace from the two path through the second turn and in the run down the backstretch, was overtaken soon after entering the final turn, and faded over the final furlong.
