Chart notes
CATCHUSIFYOUCAN forwardly placed toward the outside, was four wide on the bend, angled inside approaching the quarter pole, rallied in the lane, squeezed through inside FROSTED ECLAIR to gain the advantage nearing the final sixteenth then gradually edged ahead. FROSTED ECLAIR was bumped at the start, quickly recovered to gain the lead, showed the way just off the inside, lengthened command on the turn but slowly wore down for the drive. MOVE IT BABY prompted the pace just outside FROSTED ECLAIR, did not stay with that one on the bend, ran evenly through the stretch but was unchallenged for third. MISS DUTTON inattentive in the gate, was away somewhat slowly, moved to the outside early on, advanced four wide on the turn but leveled off for the stretch run. MAYSTART was steadied in traffic shortly after entering the main track, lost ground four to six wide through the bend and could only make up minor ground the final eighth. AWESOME SUNDAY hustled early, was a contender between horses on the backstretch but faded along the rail on the turn. WILDWOOD POSSE was also away slowly and never a factor in a wide trip. MYSWEETANNALYZE bumped FROSTED ECLAIR at the break, was corrected then tried to veer in leaving the chute, was corrected again, raced in contention from inside on the backstretch but gave way just off the rail on the bend. JAMAICAN TRAFFIC also inattentive in the gate prestart, chased from just off the rail, gradually angled out taking the turn and had little to offer for the drive.
