Chart notes
HERONEANDONLY clipped heels into the first turn, tracked the leader, stalked that one down the backstretch, edged ahead through the second turn, then drew off in the stretch and was kept to the task. IMPAZIBLE PRINCE mid pack, moved up outside into the second turn, gained position three wide through the turn, bid on that path into the stretch, edged up for the place and held. STRATEGYFORYOU unhurried, looped up three and four wide through the second turn, fanned widest into the stretch and edged up for the show. QAADER well placed and outside, held position three wide through the second turn, fanned four wide into the stretch, then angled widest, flattened and held a share. NOBLE GEM sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, stayed on when challenged through the second turn, then had no stretch rally. INSTINCTUAL unhurried through the first turn, moved up into the second turn, held position on the two path through the turn, came through and had no rally. GRUIT was never involved. A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INTO THE FIRST TURN, RESULTED IN NO CHANGE
