Chart notes
SCREAM MACHINE led the way on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and drew off in the lane. LADY PROSPECT chased the pace setter on the outside through the opening quarter of a mile, navigated the turn from the two path and kept on in the stretch. BIG BOLT raced in the middle of the pack on the outside early, came around the bend in the three path and finished evenly. MAXS PICK raced in the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the two path and finished evenly. CELESTIAL EXPRESS raced off the pace through the opening stages, navigated the turn from the two path and made no bid. GWEN STACY trailed the field throughout, saved ground around the turn and was not a factor.
