Chart notes
SOVEREIGN OF SPEED led the field up the backstretch, continued to show the way while racing in the two path around the turn and held clear to the wire while drifting out through the final furlong. SENATE CHAMBER raced off the pace through the early going, navigated the bend from the three path, began a bid approaching the quarter pole and improved position in the lane. STRIKING SPEED bumped mildly with the horse to her inside at the start, raced into traffic in the opening stages while tracking the leaders on the outside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the two path and finished evenly. CLAW bumped with the horse to her outside leaving the gate, chased the pace setters on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and tired in the lane. KITCHEN FIRE stalked the leaders on the outside through the opening quarter of a mile, swung out to the four path for the run around the turn and faded in the stretch.
