Chart notes
BOSS LOGIC raced in the two path around the first turn, pressed the pace between horses up the backstretch, took over from the two path coming around the far bend and drew off in the lane. LOOKIN AT ROSES tracked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, challenged from the two path coming around the turn and chased the winner home in the stretch. FUNKENSTEIN raced in the traffic in the three path headed around the first turn, settled off the pace on the outside for the run up the backstretch, continued around the far bend in the two path, swung wide into the lane and gained ground mildly late. TYCOON saved ground early, led the way on the inside up the backstretch, dueled from the rail around the far bend and faded in the stretch. ALVY raced off the pace on the inside through the opening half mile, came around the bend in the two path and made no bid. SMITHWICK'S SPICE stumbled leaving the gate, was carried out to the four path coming around the first bend, continued up the backstretch in the middle of the pack on the outside, navigated the far bend from the four path and tired in the lane.
