Chart notes
NEVER COMPROMISE saved ground off the pace, started a bid leaving the three eighths pole, angled to the four path approaching the head of the lane, left the turn outside, dug in for the lead mid-stretch and widened later yards. GOLDEN APPEAL raced off the rail the first turn, started a four wide bid leaving the three eighths pole, contested even terms three wide on the far turn and dueled through the stretch for second. AUBURN MILL took the lead and moved to the inside to rate the pace, came under pressure leaving the three eighths pole, contested the edge at the rail on the far turn but was met mid-stretch and relented in the duel for second. REMYS SHOWTIME stalked the early pace three wide, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole and contested at a close disadvantage between horses on the far turn, though, flattened the final sixteenth. RIP THORN saved ground. MISS WAVE stalked the early pace two deep, gave chase toward the seven sixteenths pole but was taken up approaching the five sixteenths and walked off.
