Chart notes
WATERS OF MEROM pressed the pace, forwardly placed throughout and proved the best late. SWEET LAURA lacked early speed, made a steady gain, rallied five wide and finished willingly. AKASI pressed the pace, saved ground around the final turn and proved no match for the top two. BLUE RIDGE QUEEN went to the front, drove clear, saved ground and weakened down the final stretch. KENYA STRIKE lacked early speed, improved position, but was no factor. B'S LIL' BUMBLEBEE raced within contention, came around the final turn wide, faded and was no threat late. FASTED raced in the middle of the pack and faded. COZZOLANI lacked early speed and showed little. LIL ALLIE DANCER always raced near the back and was never a threat.
