STAR RACER was away in good order and was prominent leaving the start, raced close up to the fast early pace and stalked four wide into the turn, lost a bit of ground into the turn and chased four wide to the quarter marker, loomed five wide into upper stretch and vied for the lead at the furlong marker, took command nearing the sixteenth-pole, dug in into deep stretch and drew away in the final stages to prevail. RAGER settled off the fast early pace and tracked outside of runners into the turn, gained ground five wide approaching the quarter marker, swung seven wide for the stretch drive and continued his sustained rally at mid-stretch, could not match strides with STAR RACER into the final sixteenth and outfinished the rest to earn place honors. TOP HARBOR took back leaving the start and tracked the fast early pace while between runners, raced four wide into the turn and swung six wide for the stretch drive, loomed at the furlong marker, raced in tight quarters into the final sixteenth, was outkicked in deep stretch and determinedly stayed on in the final strides to secure third at the wire. UNRAPTURED was hustled leaving the start and assumed command in the early going, contested the fast pace three wide approaching the half-mile marker, lost ground into the turn and chased the leading pair to the quarter pole, swung to the four path into the stretch and re-bid at the furlong marker, battled into the final sixteenth, needed more in deep stretch and was just edged for third at the wire. ROBIE was prominent leaving the start and pressed the fast early pace between rivals, disputed the quick pace into the turn and vied for the lead at the quarter pole, battled into the stretch, could not match strides with oncoming rivals into the final furlong and weakened. ALEXANDER'S DREAM was forwardly placed leaving the start, came in tight at the five-furlong marker and was shuffled back approaching the half-mile pole, recovered and chased the fast pace from the inside heading into the turn, saved ground to the quarter marker, tipped two wide into the stretch and rallied nearing the furlong marker, vied for the lead at mid-stretch, could not keep pace into the final sixteenth and gave way in deep stretch. TALBOT BAY took back off of the fast early pace, tracked the leaders from a two wide position heading to the turn, raced between rivals into the turn and steadied midway through the bend, angled to the four path into the stretch and re-bid approaching the furlong grounds, lacked the needed response in the final sixteenth and was outkicked. LOVE CANDY was asked for speed leaving the start and was sent to contest the early pace, disputed the fast pace into the turn and carved out quick fractions heading to the quarter marker, lost position into the stretch, chased to the furlong marker and faded in the final stages.
