Chart notes
NEVER COMPROMISE settled off the rail the opening turn, bid nearing the three eighths pole and rounded the far turn about the five path, dug in leaving the turn and got up the final strides. THEWITCHISGONE stalked from the three path the first turn, gave chase nearing the five sixteenths pole, raced in the four path on the far turn, dueled to a slim lead passing the sixteenth pole but was outfinished in the final strides. FEARNOUGHT rated close inside, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail and finished well to take third the final yards. MISSIONSNINETYNINE rated a short lead inside, came under pressure leaving the seven sixteenths pole and cleared AUBURN MILL approaching the quarter, was met midway on the far turn, remained a close factor through the upper stretch but relented the final sixteenth. The latter became a bit anxious in the gate then stalked off the rail, challenged leaving the seven sixteenths pole but dropped back toward the quarter, remained close off the rail on the far turn then flattened in the lane. GOLDEN APPEAL rounded the first turn about the five path, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole and entered the far turn near the rail, angled to the five path approaching the head of the lane and showed little further. NIGHT TRAIN WAYNE showed little response.
